Review every scientific claim, label and data point before use. Do not upload patient identifiers, secrets or confidential research.
Content standards and prohibited categories
This policy applies to prompts, uploaded references, generated or edited images, labels, flowcharts, plots and saved projects. You must not use the service to generate, upload, edit, store or distribute any of the following six categories:
- Pornography / NSFW. You must not generate pornographic, sexually explicit or sexualized NSFW content, including depictions of sexual acts or nudity intended for sexual gratification.
- Violence / gore. You must not generate violent or gory content, including graphic injuries, torture, killings, or material encouraging violence, terrorism or mass harm. Instructions for producing weapons of mass destruction are also prohibited.
- Hate speech. You must not generate hate speech, hateful imagery, dehumanization, or calls for discrimination or violence against people based on protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.
- Child-unsafe content / CSAM. You must not generate child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexualized depictions of minors, or content promoting child exploitation, grooming or abuse. This prohibition includes synthetic and fictional depictions; claimed consent does not make such content acceptable.
- Deepfakes / impersonation. You must not generate deepfakes or content impersonating real people, brands or organizations. This includes non-consensual sexual depictions and fabricated statements, actions or endorsements attributed to someone else.
- Copyright / trademark infringement. You must not generate content that infringes copyrights or trademarks, including unauthorized copies of protected works, counterfeit branding, or logos used to imply a false affiliation. Only provide references and other material you have the right to use.
Do not bypass content checks, use jailbreak prompts, or misrepresent AI-generated outputs as verified evidence. A scientific or educational purpose does not waive these prohibitions.
User reporting channels and handling
Anyone, including a person without an account, can report suspected prohibited generated content, impersonation or rights infringement by emailing support@figran.net.
Use the subject “Content safety report”. Include the result or project identifier or a link if available, the approximate generation date, the suspected category and a short explanation. For a rights complaint, explain your connection to the affected person or protected work. We may ask for limited additional information to locate the content or verify a claim.
Do not attach, download or forward suspected CSAM or other illegal material. Report its location or identifier and a brief non-graphic description instead. Do not send passwords, complete payment details, patient identifiers or unrelated confidential research.
- Receipt and triage: our support team reads reports sent to this mailbox, acknowledges receipt and assesses urgency. Suspected child exploitation, imminent harm and other serious violations receive priority. Acknowledgment is handled by support; it is not an automated confirmation or a promise of 24-hour staffing.
- Review: we assess the available content and context against this policy, review relevant safety-check information where available, and may request clarification. A report alone is not treated as proof of a violation.
- Action: where a violation is confirmed, we take proportionate action under our Terms, which may include rejecting unsafe generation requests, requiring correction or removal, restricting access to content or the service, or suspending or terminating an account. We preserve necessary evidence and cooperate with competent authorities where required by law.
- Follow-up: we notify the reporter of the outcome or request further information when appropriate and legally permitted. We may limit details to protect privacy, security or an investigation. If a review takes longer, we explain the delay when we can.
Report information is shared only as needed to investigate, take action or meet legal obligations, as described in our Privacy Policy. Knowingly false or abusive reports may themselves result in action under our Terms; good-faith reports are welcome.
If you believe we made a mistake, reply to the support conversation with the report reference and relevant explanation or evidence. We will reconsider the decision in light of the additional information.
Generation and structured figures
Draw generates raster illustrations and can revise a selected image with a new prompt. Flowchart creates editable nodes and connections; Plot uses your supplied data. Manual steps and data editing do not call an AI model. AI assistance can propose structured edits, which you review before applying.
What stays editable
Canvas text, shapes, connections and chart data are editable. SVG preserves vectors; PPTX contains native shapes and supported native charts. An AI image remains a raster layer: its internal objects and text are not automatically editable. Image refinement creates a new image version and consumes the displayed model credits.
Checks and provider processing
When moderation is enabled, SeeAPI checks the text first, input images next and output images last. A blocked or unavailable required check stops the request. Accepted prompts and relevant reference material are sent to the configured AI providers. Content checks do not verify scientific correctness. See Privacy for processing and retention details.
History and saved projects
Generated image history normally lasts 30 days; each result shows its expiry. Saving an image into a Studio or Canvas project creates a separate project copy when storage succeeds. History expiry and saved-project deletion are different operations. Already deleted source images cannot be recovered by saving later. Export important work; saved projects are not a promise of permanent storage.
Credits and access
Sign-in is required for creation. Credit Packs with an unexpired usable balance allow five image models without a subscription, including Sunburst, Flare and Nano Banana 2. Model and resolution determine generation and revision costs. Vector Flowchart and Plot editing and SVG export are available to all accounts. Canvas image layers and editable PPTX require Pro, Ultimate or Max.
